RMSA Registration

Hello soccer families and welcome to our website! 

REGISTRATION PERIOD:

Our online registration is set to start Feb 1- Mar 1 2025 and we look forward to seeing you all back again! 

Late registrations will only be allowed if there is a spot on the team available and enough coaches. A late registration fee will be applied.

We aim to minimize late registrations as coordinators need time to assign teams, coaches and equipment. 

U9+ will be gender specific registration.

• If not enough players in a specific gender, RMSA will work with CASA to either create a local co-ed team or find another community looking for gender specific players to make up a full team.

Currently there is no limit on registration numbers per age group, HOWEVER, registration will be based on a first come basis if the following occurs:

• In house league: where there are not enough coaches
• In competitive league: when there are too many players for one team but not enough for another team and/or not enough coaches

Player registrations are date and time stamped. Players that do not meet the cutoff will be notified with the options to either find a coach, or find more players, or be refunded, or for competitive players there may be transfers into our club or a possible transfer to another community if an opening and a player agrees to a transfer. RMSA will do our best to try and find a way for as many kids to play.

AGE REQUIREMENTS:

U5  = under 5 (eg. aged 3 or 4 on January 1, 2025) **NOTE: this will only be a 45 min session

U7  = under 7 (eg. aged 5 or 6 on January 1, 2025)

U9  = under 9 (eg. aged 7 or 8 on January 1, 2025)

U11 = under 11 (eg. aged 9 or 10 on January 1, 2025)

U13 = under 13 (eg. aged 11 or 12 on January 1, 2025)

U15 = under 15 (eg. aged 13 or 14 on January 1, 2025)

U17 = under 17 (eg. aged 15 or 16 on January 1, 2025)

PLAN FOR THE SEASON:

House league for U5-U7: TUES and THURS. U7 start at 5PM, U5 start at 5:15PM and both end at 6:00PM. Start date is TBD. House is outdoors only and does not start until the fields are ready (we will keep you posted)

U9 mini travel league:  times for practices and game TBD. Based on the prior CASA schedule, there will likely be one practice and one game per week (or two practices in a week where no game occurs). The travel for this league is quite local, and involves about 6-8 games total. 

Competitive team (u11 and up) practice dates/times will be set by coaches and game times will be set by the league (will vary, depending on age, number of teams submitted to CASA etc).

Generally Game nights are:

• Monday or Wednesday for U9 & U13
• Tuesday or Thursday for U11 & U15

U9+ all have the potential to play in tournaments throughout the year. This will be reviewed & planned with team coaches and expect all fees to be paid by the players (tournament fees are not included in registration fees, unless otherwise voted on by the RMSA board - subject to change each season).

U9+ will play in a final tournament at the end of the season. U11 will be a season wrap up. U13+ will play for the potential to go to provincials. Should a U13+ team go to provincials, the fee for provincials will be paid by the players (not included in registration fees).

START TIMES:

Our house season will start as soon as possible in April (this will depend on weather and field conditions). 

We will start indoor training for competitive outdoor groups (U9+) plans are to start in early April (subject to if enough coaches and players). CASA League start is May 5, 2025. 

Please be sure you have shin pads for your child as this is mandatory.

FEES:

SAVE $5 WHEN PAYING BY E-TRANSFER. But - fees MUST be paid in full to secure their spot AND before the player is allowed to play.

Costs below are if paid by Credit Card:

-U5 $105

-U7 $150

-U9 $170 MINI TRAVEL  

-U11 and up $230

ATTENTION KIDSPORT APPLICANTS!

Our online registration requires payment by credit card or e-transfer in order to secure a spot on the team. If your intention is to pay for registration via Kidsport, please contact the registrar to notify and determine a plan to secure a spot on the team. rimbeyminorsoccerregistrar@gmail.com

CANCELLATION POLICY for RMSA: 

-After the season begins in April (when full payment is taken) there are no refunds.  An occasional exception can be made in the case of an unexpected injury or issue, but is at the discretion of the board. 

-Cancellations between the end of registration but before the season's commences, will be subject to some fees, to cover the cost of equipment and uniforms ordered

HWY CLEAN UP AND AGM:

We will be partnering with the Lion's Club again this season to provide volunteers for a highway clean up day. This helps us to offset the cost of our field maintenance and helps us keep your fees as low as possible.

We ask for your support in this endeavor and look forward to a successful day--likely sometime in June, date TBD.  

We will hold our annual AGM outdoors in the coming months, date TBD. 

BOARD MEMBERS AND COACHES WANTED: 

We are in need of coaches and board members--our organization cannot run without community and parental support. If you have coached with us before, please register through RAMP as you have previously.
