RCMP Forms for Volunteers

Thank you to our volunteers!

To ensure the safety of our players and association the following is required:

Coaches (head and assistant) and Bench Parents: Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector (VS) Check

Check must have been within the past year and should be valid for the applicable season.
- Example: check was completed September 2024. This check would cover following 2025 outdoor season.
- Example: check was completed May 2024. This check would not cover the 2025 outdoor season.
If these forms we're already done for another organization, they can be used for RMSA, as long as it's both the CRC & VS checks

Board Members: Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector (VS) Check

Checks are valid for 3 years, if only acting in a board member capacity, if coach or bench parent - annual checks required.

CRC & VS check inquiries are completed by filling in the form, found at the bottom of the page, and taking it to your local RCMP detachment.

Rimbey RCMP Detachment usually takes a week to process the checks and return to applicant.

Below is a letter from RMSA available to print and take with you to the RCMP detachment to provide confirmation the search is on behalf of RMSA.

Completed check to be returned to either the House League Coordinator or the Competitive League Coordinator.

The document can also be uploaded by the applicant into their RAMP registration as a coach or bench parent.
